The fruit of a long creative process, Tear of the Pine was born of a passion for exploring the quality limits of traditional Greek wine. The wine that placed retsina amongst the world’s finest wines. A great wine with an impressive ageing potential. Retsina as it should be.

The year started with good conditions and normal rainfall levels. However, high- although not extreme- temperature and dry conditions during summer led to a second consecutive early vintage. That year's white grapes showed excellent health and an intensely fruity character with balanced acidity. Admittedly, a very good vintege.
New fermentation temperature protocols are applied. Vinalies Internationales give for the first time a gold medal to a retsina.
