A vintage with hot, dry weather conditions, the earliest of the last 15 years, with low humidity levels throughout the development and ripening periods, led to low yields of perfectly healthy, high-quality grapes.
After long experimentation, a quantity of American oak is added next to French oak barrels. Mundus Vini give for the first time a gold medal to a retsina.
