A year that started off in difficult conditions, with high rainfall during the growth period, leading to increased pressure from diseases and low yields. However, the normal weather conditions that prevailed during the ripening period helped Assyrtiko to reach a good balance between sugars and acidity.
Experimentation with different types of oak that started in the previous year continues.
