One of the warmest years of the last decades, initially creating water stress conditions that made the growth of the grapes difficult. However, the favourable conditions of the ripening period improved the quality of the fruit. A difficult vintage, mainly regarding the health cindition of the grapes. Therefore a strict selection in the vineyard was performed before harvest date, in order to keep yields low but increase quality.
